Legal Experience

 

Bill Slusser has extensive jury trial experience in patent infringement and related technical suits, as well as in antitrust, general business and products liability lawsuits. He represented a wide range of clients from the world's largest oil and gas corporation and major oil and gas equipment and services companies to individual patent owners.

Bill received a number of significant distinctions for his trial ability and accomplishments. He is a member of the two most highly regarded merit-based organizations for trial lawyers--The International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is also a member of the highly prestigious  American Law Institute.

He is listed in numerous publications recognizing outstanding lawyers, including the Best Lawyers in America every year since its inception, Chambers USA, and several others. Previously, Bill was at Norton Rose Fulbright as trial counsel and focused on intellectual property cases. Prior to jointing Fulbright, he had his own intellectual property law firm and he had worked at Baker Botts in Houston for 26 years where he was the head of the Trial Department and a member of the Executive Committee.
